The Cyrix-ct 12/24-120 is a voltage sensitive bi-directional relay. So it will also be activated if, for example, the extra battery is being charged.

Smart battery monitoring prevents cycling. Cyrix software does more than just connect and disconnect based on battery
voltage and with a fixed time delay. The Cyrix watches the general trend (increasing or decreasing voltage) and reverses a previous action only if
the trend has been reversed for a certain period of time. The delay time depends on the voltage deviation from the trend.
Parallel emergency function. If required, an emergency start push button can be wired to the "start assist" connection (85). The relay will activate
for 30 seconds after the 'jump assist' has momentarily connected to the battery plus. Alternatively, a paralleling switch can be used to
activate the relay while the switch remains closed.
Easy to install. There is no need to cut any factory wiring that could void your boat or vehicle manufacturer's warranty.
